ATC encourages its employees to become engaged in community involvement activities.
Members of the Executive Team, and employees, can be found on the boards of neighborhood committees, on the sidelines coaching youth sports, involved in various clubs and organizations or volunteering time with non-profit groups in the area.
One such non-profit organization with which we are proud to have an association is Matthew 25: Ministries. One of the reasons we chose to work with Matthew 25: Ministries (M25M) is the high percentage of donations that actually go towards the programs they are funding.
For example, 99% of Matthew 25: Ministries' cash and in-kind donations go towards programs (source: www.m25m.org). M25M has also been awarded the highest rating you can achieve (4-stars) by the "Charity Navigator" organization. Each year, typically between the Christmas and New Year holidays, ATC takes a day to go volunteer at Matthew 25. It’s a great opportunity to bond with fellow coworkers and their families outside of the office, all while helping out a great cause.
This event started out with our own employees and their familes, but our goal is to expand each year to include customers, friends, colleagues, etc. 2011 was our biggest year ever with approximately 40 volunteers. We prepared over 30,000 pounds of soap for international distribution to help the poorest of the poor.
